Research interests include investigating the neural basis of cognition in autism and other developmental disorders relative to typically developing children. My initial research focused on cognitive development in these populations, whereas my current research incorporates the use of fMRI, structural, and various connectivity methods. These methods are used to explore the development of cognitive skills such as, mental flexibility, working memory/inhibition, processing speed, planning and their intersection with language development.
