New postdoc positions for neuroimaging research are available in the context of the new Interdisciplinary Brain & Behavior Laboratory, jointly created by Geneva University Neuroscience Center (http://neurocenter.unige.ch/) and the Swiss National Center for Affective Sciences (http://www.affective-sciences.org/).
Previous expertise in fMRI, DTI, and/or EEG is required. The successful candidates will conduct research on neurobiological bases and disorders of perception and emotion. The new center will provide full access to a wide range of research facilities including: dedicated 3T MRI scanners, EEG systems with fMRI compatibility, TMS, eye-tracking labs, psychophysiology labs, immersive virtual reality, and state-of-the art olfactory stimulation systems. The positions will primarily be affiliated with the Laboratory of Neurology and Imaging of Cognition (LABNIC) in the Department of Neurosciences at Geneva University Medical Center, but many opportunities exist for collaborations with other research groups in brain imaging (including human 7T MRI platforms, intracranial EEG mapping, or signal processing), as well as clinical neurology and neuropsychology.
Geneva offers a thriving international environment, with extensive cultural and outdoor activities, and a high quality of living. The starting date is flexible. Salary will depend on qualifications.
