The Ohio State University invites applications for an MRI Technician in the area of functional magnetic resonance imaging. The successful candidate will operate Siemens MRI system and related ancillary equipment; monitor the safety of the operating environment, including direct interaction with subject participants; This person will also ensure the safety of subjects and researchers; assist the Physics Manager and Laboratory Manager with maintenance of equipment and administrative duties including, recordkeeping, preparing reports, and ordering supplies in the university's new Human Brain Imaging Facility.
The candidate will be expected to hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; operating experience in a technical field closely related to MRI; experience in operating MRI system(s).
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary, depending on qualifications and experience which includes excellent fringe benefits. Anticipated starting date is November 1, 2010.
